On 6 February 2023, I woke up to a morning of rage with a message from my friend.
"Ehi, everything fine at home? I heard about the earthquake"
Feeling distance hasn't been so hard for so long...
My ancestors were from the epicenter, and I have family members still living. I went up there immediately to witness the catastrophe. My eyes hadn't seen war, but a demonstration of war was displayed in a small town.
Daily life necessities were once the meeting point of people, but now seeing them under the rubble is like between a dream and reality.
Inhabitants said they hadn't experienced such a disaster and never felt alone. One hundred thousand inhabitants lived in this town until this disaster, and only ten thousand are left now.
